Hard chrome

Hard chrome plating  is a electrochemical process wherby a chrome layer (metalic chrome or  Cr 0 )

is plated on to a base material.

 

Properties

 

- Hardness 800 - 1200 HV
- excellent wear resistance

- good corrosion resistance

- Low friction, chrome to steell 0,19
- Anti stick
- Melting point 1850°C
